Baptism is a public expression of your faith in Jesus Christ and your heart-felt commitment to follow Him. Baptism is an outward sign of the inward decision you’ve made to follow Jesus Christ. It symbolizes Christ's death, burial and resurrection. For believers, going under the water represents the burial of your old life. Coming up from the water, you are raised from the death of sin and made fully alive in Christ.
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” ~ Romans 6:4
